Matthew 1:18 — Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit.
Another way of talking about incarnation is to talk about the presence of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life. But sometimes people separate their spirit from their body. Here the Holy Spirit entered Mary’s body, not just Mary’s spirit. And entering Mary’s body, entered Jesus’ body.
