With Us

Matthew 1:22-23All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:  “Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel” (which means, God with us).

Take a breath.  God is with us.  The doctrine of the incarnation assures  us of the fact that God is with us.  But God’s presence in our sisters and brothers is God with us.
Give thanks for one time God has been with you because God was present in someone else.
